Diablo Paddlesports – Hybrid Stand-up Paddle Kayaks

DIABLO-PADDLESPORTS Diablo Paddlesports carries three models of their hybrid stand-up paddleboard (SUP) kayaks: The Amigo, The Adios, and The Chupacabra. These SUP-yaks were designed by Texans to float and manuever in the shallowest water, while still being comfortable and stable enough to stand up and paddle.

The SUP-yak is a hybrid of two great traditions: stand-up paddleboard surfing, and kayaking. Diablo believes its unique design offers the best of both worlds without sacrificing the joys of either. Diablo kayaks are thinner and wider, like a SUP board, but still has all the features of a kayak, like dry storage, wet storage, paddle, rod and drink holders, plus a comfortable seat.

The Adios

The Adios combines the best characteristics of a kayak and a stand-up paddleboard, plus unique features like a wider body for easier balance and more stability when sitting and standing. A custom designed pull-leash for easy standing, and a larger cockpit than traditional kayaks and plenty of added room. The wider design and tri-hull make this model great for paddling or stand-up fishing on rivers, streams, lakes or open water.

The Amigo

The Amigo is the twin of the Adios, just slightly bigger and roto-molded. It has molded-in tracks to secure the Larry chair, and includes a pull-up leash for easier standing. Plus a larger cockpit than traditional kayaks and plenty of added room. The tri-hull and wider design make this model a true “one of a kind” on the water. Perfect for paddling or stand up fishing on lakes, rivers, streams or open bodies of water.

The Chupacabra

The Chupacabra has a tri-hull design to get you in shallower water plus adds extra stability. The unique design accommodates extra weight, so even the biggest guys can get into skinny water while still carrying their needed fishing gear, without sacrificing manueverability. The custom pull-up leash makes it easy to transition from sitting to standing, and there’s plenty of room for comfort and storage.
